The ceremony and reception will be held on the evening of August 17, 2024. Both will be at the Cathedral in Ballard (note this is not a church- it’s more like a bar). The address is 5449 Ballard Ave NW, Seattle, WA 98107.
The ceremony and reception will be held in the same location, but they have different start times. Duee to limited space for the ceremony, we are only able to accommodate so many people. Although we wish you all could be present, this means some people will ONLY attend the reception. Please see your wedding invite for details on time to arrive and if you are invited to both the ceremony and reception.
Unfortunately, we have a strict guest list specifically for the CEREMONY to stay on budget and to ensure there are enough seats. We will only be able to accommodate those listed on your wedding invitation. Our celebration is strictly RSVP only. Our reception is a bit more flexible. If you have someone to invite to reception only, please contact me so we can see if we can accommodate. (206)790-5874.
We are excited to see you! Please RSVP via google form (coming soon).
The dress code for our wedding is semi-formal/cocktail hour. Dresses, nice dress shirts and pants will work perfectly. We advise wearing something you'll be comfortable dancing in! Do not wear white.
We will have pre-dinner snacks, self-service taco bar, and cake (of course). We will also have 2 bartenders and be serving beer, wine, and two signature cocktails.
Parking in Ballard can be a little tricky. There is a parking lot on Shilshole Avenue that you can use or additional street parking in neighborhoods north of Market Street. Both will likely require a few hours of paid parking (generally under $10). Alternative options include looking at the neighborhoods near Swedish hospital or Joanne fabrics.
While we love your little ones, our wedding will be an adults-only event so that everyone can relax and enjoy the evening. We appreciate you making arrangements ahead of time and leaving the kids at home so you can celebrate with us.
Yes! We recommend visiting the ‘Things to Do’ page of our wedding website, where we’ve compiled all of our favorite local hot spots and fun things to do in the area, including coffee shops, restaurants, and other locations to visit before or after the wedding.
