Bae said Yes!

We met senior year of high school in 2007 through mutual friends. After graduation, I went away to college 60 miles away and stayed there for 6.5 years. At the end of 2013, I moved back to Baton Rouge, and started an online profile on a social media website, which is where Josh bumped into me. He slid in my DM's (yes he did) claiming I was a catfish and stole his "friends" pictures (a girl he knew in high school). The show catfish had just came out not to long before this. We went back and forth through direct message at least 25 times as I had to prove to him I was truly me (yes I did). The funny thing was that I didn't remember him from high school (and still don't haha), so I made him prove that he knew me. About 60+ messages later, he told me things only certain people knew that couldn't be googled, and about 20 more messages later I suggested we FaceTime to know for sure we were the people in our profile pictures. Once I realized how cute he was, I stopped giving him a hard time (LOL!). The next day, Josh invited me to karaoke with his best friend, but I declined. Three days later (Saturday, January 4, 2014), we decided to meet up at the mall in Baton Rouge. My sister Bry helped me get all cute, and I went to meet him at the mall. Once we saw each other (and I kid you not), we talked about old times (that I didn't remember) while walking around the mall. Josh started telling me stories about how close we used to be, and how he considered me a best friend. Thats when he asked "can we go back to being best friends", and I said sure, why not (thinking he was just blowing smoke). Ever since this day, we've been enjoying each other and hanging out while spending every moment we can together!
