Things To Do

We can't wait for you to visit our favorite places! Below is a list of breweries, restaurants, and activities in Columbia that we love. Many of these are concentrated in Downtown Columbia (The District). This is such a fun area of town! We highly recommend staying here and exploring if you have time.

Logboat Brewing Company

504 Fay Street, Columbia, MO 65201

This is Josh and Kyra's favorite brewery in Columbia! Kyra recommends Snapper, but just about anything is great. Logboat does not serve food, but there is plenty of food nearby that you can order and bring in.

International Tap House

308 South 9th Street, Columbia, MO 65201

The biggest tap beer selection in Columbia! A great combination of local Missouri beers and other new options. Kyra both spent a bit too much time "studying" here in college.

Barred Owl Butcher & Table

47 East Broadway, Columbia, MO 65203

Some of the best food and cocktails in town, though it is a bit on the pricier side.

44 Canteen

21 North 9th Street, Columbia, MO 65201

Another local favorite! A casual vibe in downtown Columbia. We highly recommend the shrimp tacos.

Shakespeare's Pizza - Downtown

225 South 9th Street, Columbia, MO 65201

This is Kyra's favorite pizza in Columbia. Make sure to go to the original location on 9th Street!

Pizza Tree

909 Cherry Street, Columbia, MO 65201

Another solid pizza option, but since Kyra is doing this part of the website that's all she'll say.

Gunter Hans

7 Hitt Street, Columbia, MO 65201

Nothing like a free pretzel with your quart of beer.

Les Bourgeois Vineyards

14020 West Highway Bb, Rocheport, MO 65279

If you are feeling like a glass of wine with a view, the A-Frame at Les Bourgeois is it! About 20 minutes outside of town, the A-Frame is on a bluff top overlooking the Missouri River. This is one of our favorite places in the area!

Flat Branch Pub & Brewing

115 South 5th Street, Columbia, MO 65201

A classic American pub. Great beer, great food.

Rock Bridge State Park

Rock Bridge State Park, Columbia, MO 65203

If you have never been here before it is an absolute must. We have spent a LOT of time on these trails. We would recommend taking the boardwalk trail into the mouth of the Devil's Icebox cave.

Stephens Lake Park

2001 East Broadway, Columbia, MO 65201

A large city park just east of downtown. We have spent many days walking, picnicking or enjoying live music here.

University of Missouri

Columbia, MO 65211

For those who haven't been to Columbia before we highly recommend walking around Mizzou's campus! It is right next to downtown and is a truly beautiful area. The entire campus is also considered a botanical garden so keep an eye out for signs with information about the plant life around you!
