Ahuva and Josh's Wedding

5:00 pm Smorgasbord (cocktail hour) 5:20 pm Tisches A wedding tisch is a tradition where guests sit around a table and celebrate the upcoming wedding with lively singing, eating, drinking, and toasts. Ahuva and Josh will have separate tisches in the Maryland room, which will have a room divider, and everyone is invited to take food from the smorgasbord and join either tisch. The smorgasbord will be in the Regency room. 6:00 PM Bedeken Guests at each tisch will dance with Josh and Ahuva to each other from the tisch room to the Regency room for the Bedeken, where Josh and Ahuva will place the tallit that belonged to Josh's paternal grandfather Grandpa Ron, of blessed memory, on each other, receive blessings from their parents, Josh's and Ahuva’s mothers will break a plate to symbolize accepting the Tnaiim (traditional engagement terms), and the designated witnesses will sign the ketubah. 6:30 PM Ceremony 7:10 PM Dinner & Dancing Please see FAQ for information about the food.
