This story starts on a hot summer's day in August 2019. This was the day Josh started his first job after college at Truist Bank in the branch Leticia worked. Josh came into the branch right away like he owned the place, which led to a few cat fights between the two at first. As the months went on, Josh and Leticia grew closer as friends walking every morning to the nearby cafe to pick up coffees before the branch opened. Around this time Leticia finally caved and gave Josh her insta after endless attempts. The two grew closer and closer sharing more and eventually enjoying time together outside of work. What drew the two as close as ever was the passing of Josh's mom in February 2020. During this time, Josh realized how much Leticia cared for him and was there for him throughout the whole process. His eyes opened and his love sparked. The two began dating on March 20th, 2020. After exactly six months of dating Josh met the girls Aria and Kalea and fell in love again. A different kind of love. A kind that matured him, a tender kind with a sense of protection. One that required patience, nourishment and dedication. Aria was 7 and Kalea was 3 at the time. The three became great friends instantly, gaining trust and learning each other gradually. Starting off with roller coaster rides in laundry baskets, to watching them graduate elementary and preschool to comforting them and buying flowers letting them know he's always here for their first heartbreak. A family was born. Throughout all the highs and lows. Struggles and successes. Laughs and cries. They are always a family first and incredibly fortunate and happy. On July 22nd, 2026 in St. Thomas U.S. Virgin Islands, Josh asked Leticia to marry him and if Aria and Kalea will accept him as an official stepdad. He got three big yes's.
