In August 2016, Isabelle and Josh both embarked on an exciting new chapter as they moved to Reno to start their college journey at UNR. Isabelle arrived a week early to participate in the Nevada Fit program, while Josh moved in the Thursday before the semester began. As Josh settled into his dorm, Friday arrived with an invitation to a party at a new friend's house. Meanwhile, Isabelle was hanging out with a group of girls in the suite next to the dorm room where Josh and his friends were getting ready for the party. Fate brought them together that night; they spent the entire evening talking, holding hands, and enjoying each other's company. Though neither had expected to enter a long-term relationship so early in college, their connection was undeniable. As they built a strong friendship, they realized they never wanted to be apart. From that night on, Isabelle and Josh have been inseparable, growing together and building a beautiful life full of love and adventure.

After seven wonderful years together, Josh and Isabelle found themselves on a trip with Isabelle’s family in Tacoma, Washington. Isabelle expressed her desire to go on a ferry ride, so they decided to take a ferry to Vashon Island with the whole family. Throughout their relationship, Josh had a tradition of writing heartfelt poems to Isabelle on special occasions like Valentine’s Day, birthdays, and anniversaries. On this particular day, at a charming winery on Vashon Island, Josh continued this tradition. He proposed to Isabelle with a beautiful poem, expressing his deep love for her, and concluded with the heartfelt question, “Will you marry me?” Following the proposal, Josh and Isabelle entered the tasting room at the winery where their family and friends were there waiting to celebrate their special moment together with them.
