Question

Is the wedding indoors or outdoors?

Answer

The wedding is indoors with A/C, so you may want to bring a sweater. After the wedding is over, the reception is at another location that will have indoor and outdoor areas that you can move between at your leisure.

Question

How far will I have to walk?

Answer

There are places where family members can drop each other off in front of the Church and reception if walking far distances are a struggle. The pathways are concrete in both places, but the entrance of the Church is brick. However, it is very level.

Question

What food will be served?

Answer

TBD

Question

What's the wedding itinerary?

Answer

Our wedding will take place at St. John Westminster on July 25, 2026. The ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM sharp, followed by pictures with immediate family (you will be notified). Our reception will follow at Piney Branch Golf Course with cocktail hour starting at 4:00 PM. The start of dinner is projected to be around 5:30PM and the anticipated conclusion of the night is 9:00 PM.

Question

What time should I arrive at your wedding ceremony?

Answer

The doors to the venue will open one hour ahead of our ceremony time at [insert ceremony time]. We recommend arriving at the ceremony venue at least 30 minutes ahead of the ceremony start time to ensure you have enough time to walk to the ceremony space (located about a [insert walking time] walk from the parking lot) and find a seat.

Question

Are phones allowed out during the wedding?

Answer

Yes, but we would like all phones to be silenced as to not interrupt the ceremony. If you have any trouble, please ask our greeters for assistance before you are seated. We also ask you not to lean into the aisles or have a flash in any of the pictures. We will have a professional photographer there and we want him to be able to get the best unobstructed pictures he can.
