Josh and Faith shared their very first days of school together at Covenant Academy in Mrs. Evans Pre K class. As the years went by many shifts in emotions played out from both sides. Faith thought Josh was the cutest kid in the world (at least that's how Josh remembers it) but then he learned how to talk which dramatically hurt his case. Young boys can be, well, a nuisance at times. Faith was not interested. However, as time went on Josh learned to speak slightly more eloquently and while his behavior grew into that of a gentleman so did the interest grow in Faith's eyes. Unfortunately, Josh is a male and lacks much of the discernment required to catch on to such things so Faith's feelings ebb and flowed for a couple years. Now Josh, on the other hand, attended anywhere from 3-4 different youth groups a week (and most of them we're not for the spiritual benefits). There were several ladies that caught his attention, no comment on whether that attention was reciprocated. But there was that blaring moment in his mind. He was sitting on a couch next to Faith at a friends house when he caught a glimpse of what would become one of the most appealing parts of her character, her unmatched wit. Josh was shocked though! Faith was one of the most soft spoken and reserved girls he knew and this sarcastic side certainly caught his interest. Unfortunately, this tale becomes quiet uninteresting for the next several years. Then the clouds opened up and the sun shone brightly on Faith's beautiful face as Josh, for the first time in his life, saw color and heard the music of the heavens! You could say that at times girls get a distinct haircut for the attention of it, whatever the case for Faith, Josh's attention was certainly caught. He mustered the courage and asked her to walk the break wall. When they reached the end, Faith looked on at the city while Josh preferred a different view: the face of his soon to be wife!
