Train
MetroNorth Train from NYC to Garrison
The picturesque train ride from Manhattan to Garrison is about 80 minutes long and $16 each way. You can take the Hudson Line local train from Grand Central to Garrison train station via MetroNorth. The venue is a 6 minute car/ Uber/ taxi ride from the train station. Check to see if Ubers are nearby while you're on the train. If not, you can reserve a taxi - try Alley’s Way Taxi (845-265-8294). The train runs as late as 12:29am on Sundays.

Driving Directions
From New York City, Rockland County and New Jersey via Palisades Parkway ~ On New Jersey side of George Washington Bridge, take Palisades Parkway North ~ Take the Palisades Parkway North all the way to the end, through roundabout, to the Bear Mountain Bridge ~ Cross Bear Mountain Bridge; at end of bridge make left onto Route 9D North ~ Travel approximately 5 miles (through two traffic lights) ~ After the Post Office (on left), turn right onto Snake Hill Road ~ The Garrison’s side entrance is approximately 1.5 miles on the left Alternate route from New York City via Sawmill River Parkway ~ Take the West Side Highway to Henry Hudson Parkway North to Sawmill River Parkway North ~ Take Exit 26 onto the Taconic State Parkway North (you will only be on the Taconic for a short distance) ~ After a mile or so, take Exit Route 9A/100 North (The Garrison is approximately 30 minutes from this point) ~ After several miles and three traffic lights, Route 9A merges with Route 9 North ~ Continue on Route 9 North following signs for Poughkeepsie (watch signs carefully as Rte. 9 turns left at one light) ~ At the traffic light at Route 403 (Shell station on the left), continue straight on Route 9 North ~ The Garrison’s main entrance is approximately 2.5 miles on the left
