Josh and Haley had their very first date at Emily's Place Coffee. Funny enough, although having multiple classes together over the previous few years, the two knew very little about each other. They spent hours talking about anything and everything over watered-down coffee and tea, and the date really only ended because they realized they had been sitting in the same spot for over 4 hours. With one month until graduation and acceptances to rival colleges just around the corner, they had no idea that this date would change everything.

Days before their high school graduation, the soon-to-be couple drove out to the Guadalupe River with a few friends in celebration of the end of classes. With everyone floating down the river and enjoying the sun, Josh and Haley had found themselves drifting away from the group. Taking his opportunity, Josh had turned to her and casually said: "You're my girlfriend now."

After years of living a minimum of two hours apart from each other, Haley's new job offer had allowed the perfect opportunity for the couple to finally close that distance. She packed up her apartment in New Braunfels, and the moving process had begun! Their cats, Valkyrie and Ivar, were so much happier to have double the attention.

Their Ireland vacation had been an absolute dream. Josh had been telling Haley that they were going to meet a work friend of his in Cork to take some photos. He had constructed an elaborate story, which fully convinced her that he was not proposing quite yet. After nervous rambling from Josh the night before, rental car troubles, and a last-minute change of location, the couple finally arrived at Charles Fort outside of the town of Kinsale. Josh told Haley to run ahead so he could take a photo of her, but when she turned back around, he was getting on one knee. Although the wind was insane and the skies were not blue, Josh could not have planned a more perfect proposal.
