I have found whom my soul loves

We get asked this quite often, and our whole relationship leading up to the engagement is pretty entertaining! With E.J. being a paramedic in Anadarko, and my mom being an E.R. nurse in Anadarko, she decided it would be a fantastic idea for us to get to know each other! After some trials and tribulations, here we are!

As I stated earlier, our whole relationship leading up to our engagement is entertaining! In June of 2024, we went on a cruise with my mom and brother. E.J. had planned to propose in Galveston the night before we left on the ship, but his plans were shot down when I stated that the Galveston Beach was "ugly." Fast forward to our first formal night on the boat, E.J. had then planned to propose on the ship before dinner while in our formal attire. Anyone that knows me knows that I LOVE to nap, I may have napped for slightly too long and there was no time for a proposal at sunset before dinner. When sitting on the balcony later that night, he pretty much told me he was tired of waiting and thought I would throw a wrench in every plan, so he got down on one knee and pulled out a ring that had been in his pocket all night! Safe to say we will never forget our proposal story!
