Question

What time should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at least 30 minutes prior to the ceremony start time (4:30pm ET) to find parking and your seat. Chicago friends, please account for the time zone change from CT to ET. Once the ceremony begins, no entrance will be granted. Note: If you are staying in Bay Pointe Inn only on Sunday night, the check in starts at 4pm; therefore, please arrive dressed and ready for the wedding ceremony and plan to check in later in the evening.

Will there be free parking?

Answer

Yes, please park in the parking lot in front of the inn. Please walk through the inn and out towards the lake to find your seat on the lawn to attend our lakefront wedding ceremony. Note: The reception will be hosted in the same location.

Can I rely on a ride share service (e.g., Uber, Lyft) to take a car to the venue?

Answer

Unfortunately, the ride share services are not reliable in this area. We recommend carpooling from your hotel.

Question

Is there a dress code?

Answer

Yes, dress to impress! Our dress code will be cocktail attire, meaning women should wear dresses and men should wear suits.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

In order to keep our wedding as intimate as possible, only guests formally invited will be accommodated. If you received a plus one they will appear when you RSVP. Note: If you have children that have been invited to the wedding, their names will appear when you type your name in the "RSVP" tab.

What if I did not RSVP in time?

Answer

If we do not receive your RSVP by July 1st, it will automatically be marked as "no". We will miss celebrating with you but it's imperative we provide our vendors with a final guest count within the time they have given. Thank you for understanding!

Can I take photos during the wedding ceremony?

Answer

We kindly ask that phones and cameras are put away during the ceremony.
