It was just a normal Monday in June. Kelly had to head out to Winneconne to do some book-keeping, and Jaimie a.k.a The Blonde Lion, asked her to stop at the Fin N Feather for happy hour as Kelly's client was running late. As the girls sat at the bar giggling and drinking margaritas with the "crew", the bar staff at the Fin N Feather was changing over. Cue the bartender, Dan. Dan knew the people who was all sitting with the group, except for Kelly. Dan initially was polite, as any bartender should be, but started his routine of setting up the bar to his liking while engaging with the group Kelly sat with. As the seconds ticked to minutes and Dan served customers while engaging in cheerful conversation, simultaneously The Blonde Lion, who sat to Kelly's left, and her boyfriend Brad, who sat to Kelly's right, both jabbed their elbows into Kelly's sides and said "Hey what do you think about Dan?" Knowing full well what they both meant, Kelly stated "He's cute, but I'm really not interested in anything with anyone." To which the Blonde Lion's "AHA" moment of persistence occurs. In only her way, she was able to finagle conversation between Dan & Kelly, in which they would quickly learn their passion for sports and connect over car racing of all things. Time by this point was way past Kelly's meeting with her client. As she asked Dan to close out her tab, Kelly was in conversation with a different friend. Kelly signed her tab and pushed the credit card receipt to the edge of the bar all while maintaining conversation. During this conversation the Blonde Lion asked Kelly what her phone number was, without missing a beat of the conversation she was having, Kelly rattled her phone number off, and continued on talking. It then clicked with Kelly why the Blonde Lion would ask for this information, so she turned and asked her what she did as the credit card receipt was gone, to which the Blonde Lion replied "Oh Nothing!"
