When should I arrive?

Answer

Please arrive at 6 PM. There will be an open bar, photo booth, and other entertainment before dinner. Doors will be closed once the ceremony starts.

What is the dress code for the wedding?

Answer

The dress code for the wedding is formal or cocktail. For guys, please wear a suit (tie is optional). For ladies, you may wear a cocktail dress or other formal/cocktail attire. For definitions, please see https://www.nordstrom.com/browse/content/blog/wedding-dress-codes. Please do not wear full white, full black, bright red, or dusty rose.

The bridesmaids will be wearing dusty rose.

How do I get to House of Joy?

Answer

If you are taking the subway, you can take the N, Q, or R trains (yellow line), 6 (green line), and J (brown line) and get off at Canal Street Station or you can take the D (orange line) and get off at Grand Street Station. If you are driving from Brooklyn, Queens, or Staten Island, you can cross the Williamsburg Bridge, Manhattan Bridge, or Brooklyn Bridge. If you are driving from New Jersey, you can cross the Holland Tunnel.

Where should I park if I struggle to find street parking?

Answer

What food will be served?

Answer

There will be 10 dishes placed at each table (Chinese banquet style) so please come ready to eat! The food is Cantonese cuisine. If you have any allergies or dietary restrictions, please message Donald or Josephine.

The reception ends around 10:30 PM.

How can I contribute to the registry?

Answer

You can use the registry on Zola, use Venmo or Quickpay to Josephine or Donald (please write an indication that it's wedding-related), or bring red envelopes to the wedding. We are very grateful for your generosity.
