We're getting married!

This story began when Hayden followed Josephine on social media after coming across a post of theirs. Upon realizing they were both going to be attending Washington State University (Hayden as a sophomore and Joey as a freshman), he reached out and asked to be friends. After weeks of FaceTiming each night, Joey asked Hayden to be their boyfriend, with the pair exchanging "I love you"s soon after. While they originally planned to meet right before the fall semester began, Hayden planned with Joey's friends to surprise Joey a few days early. Joey took an embarrassingly long time to notice that the person standing in front of the coffee shop was their partner, but eventually ran into his arms. Fast forward a year and the two began to live together with their best friend, Norell, and family dogs Addie and Willow. In June of 2024, Hayden (with the help of some friends) brought Joey back to that same coffee shop where he had surprised them the first day they met and proposed. - We cannot express enough gratitude to the people who have watched our relationship grow into a perfect love over these past few years.
