Josephine and Charles first met while traveling in 2019. They were each going on a road trip through East Tennessee and immediately connected over their passion for the outdoors (and food!). During Josephine’s years in college and Charles’ time starting his business, the two travelled extensively—road tripping across the United States. Some of their favorite memories are drinking from the freezing cold river in Glacier National Park and eating N’awlins Pain Perdue (fancy french toast) on the riverside in Savannah, Georgia. Charles proposed to Josephine in the Fall of 2020, before her spring semester, following a “Ring by Spring” tradition at Josephine’s university. Josephine thought that they were just going home after Thanksgiving dinner but Charles surprised her by proposing in his backyard under the picteresque autumn trees. Of course, Josephine said yes! Their wedding is inspired by their relationship, during the season they met and got engaged, set in the mountains they adore, centered around family and fun. After three years together, we cannot wait to celebrate our union with all of you!
