Madeline was completing her freshman year of college soccer at California State University, Chico. She decided to join her teammates for an evening out, which she'd done time and time again. Joshua was in his junior year of college soccer at California State University, Chico. He also had decided to join his teammates for an evening out. Both were unaware that this evening filled with drinks and music would ultimately lead to their ongoing love story today. Joshua was getting his groove on and saw Madeline across the room. Knowing that this would be his opportunity to introduce himself he decided to ask for a dance. Madeline could not resist and joined Joshua on the dance floor. They stayed together for the next couple of hours and then exchanged numbers and parted ways that night. Slowly the two would begin to reach out to one another. Finally, Madeline decided to join Joshua for an evening of stargazing and as Madeline was speaking Joshua found it extremely difficult to focus due to Madeline's divine beauty. It was at that moment that Joshua knew he'd marry Madeline.
