The story of Joe and Yeantying (Helen), wasn’t meant to be, but with a little encouragement from their friends, they both took a chance at love online. After a few weeks of good conversation, they finally decided to meet in person to enjoy a spicy meal together. That evening their connection was great, and only grew stronger with time. Joe is a true New Englander born and raised, with an infinite curiosity for the world beyond. It is his curiosity for people and cultures different from his own that led him to Helen, who in turn helped open his heart and his mind to the Chinese/Taiwanese culture. Joe is a generous and devoted son to his parents, always available to lend a helping hand when needed. He has a strong bond with his friends, always looking forward to spending time together at celebrations or football games. Joe is not only a foody but a great cook! One of his greatest passions is spending time in the kitchen creatively putting together new dishes. Helen is a strong and passionate woman who lives by a set of strong core values. She made many sacrifices in coming to this country far away from family and friends, and it was her inner strength that got her through the toughest days. She is compassionate and kind, always concerned about the well-being of her friends and family. An avid animal lover and of dogs in particular, she has cherished the time she and Joe have spent together with their new German Shepherd puppy Sunny. She has many hobbies to include hiking, watching movies, photography, reading, and spending time with friends. They are looking forward to sharing their special day with you.
