We connected on Facebook. September 9th was our first meeting at Shawmut Park and instantly felt connected. We started dating October 1st.

Joe did it the old fashion way….he asked my father for his blessings to marry his only daughter. It was Valentine’s Day. Joe got me flowers and candy so I was not expecting anything else. He took me to Marino’s for dinner. We finished dinner, the waitress popped open a bottle of champagne and Joe got down on one knee and opened the ring box, but before he could ask the question I asked him “what are you doing?” He asked me to marry him. I started to cry. Of course, I said “yes” with happy tears. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you.
