Our story began in Independence, where we both attended Truman High School. Our paths crossed numerous times, and we knew many of the same people, especially with us both being on the swim team. It wasn’t until 2018 when we both attended a mutual friend’s wedding and sat together, that we reconnected on social media. However, God knew we both had more learning and growing to do before we were ready for each other. In 2022, JT saw Taylor roller skating and asked her on a date. It was an instant attraction, rooted in meaningful communication, laughter, and trust. August 24th, we went to the courthouse, got married, and 2 short months later welcomed our baby boy into the world! This summer, we are so excited to finally celebrate our marriage with our friends and family!
