Hours: 10AM-5PM Tuesday-Saturday This was Joseph and Taylor's very first date! The museum is free for everyone. Taylor's favorite piece in this museum is the painting "Saint Andrew" by Kehinde Wiley. He was also the first black man to receive a commission for a portrait of a US President, Barack Obama.

Another beautiful and free museum in Norfolk near the Naval Base. It's situated right on the Lafayette River with a waterfront garden, outdoor sculptures, and a vast art collection within the museum. Admission is free for all.

If you don't want to brave the HRBT to get to the VA Beach Oceanfront, hang out at Buckroe Beach! It's also less crowded.

Paradise Ocean Club will be officially opening the day after the wedding on May 15, 2027 if you'd like to relax and lounge on a private beach with a restaurant, tiki bar, and swimming pool for $15/all day.

This wildlife preserve is a local success story, having been transformed from an old, industrial site to the wetlands we get to explore today. Take the forest trails, relax by the lake, rent a kayak, or swing by the Nature Center to see the local reptiles and aquatic exhibits! The Nature Park and Nature Center are free for all visitors, kayak rentals and more come with fees.
