Joey and Tara met on the night of his father's benefit. They met because one of Tara's best friends was married to one of Joey's best friends and they were in town to visit. Joey always said he knew he and Tara were meant to be since he lost his father but a month and a day later he met Tara. One month and a day after that his daughter Brealynn was born. Out of sorrow he was gifted a future wife and child.
