Where will the ceremony and reception be held?

Answer

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Venue at the Seven Oaks Farm.

When should I arrive?

Answer

The ceremony will begin promptly at 4. Please arrive 15 minutes early to avoid any disruptions.

Can I bring a plus one?

Answer

We're excited to celebrate with all our loved ones! If your invitation includes a plus one, please feel free to bring a guest. If you're unsure about your invitation, don’t hesitate to reach out!

Are kids allowed?

Yes! We want to celebrate with everyone, and that includes your kids!

What is the dress code?

Answer

We are going for wedding casual. Just remember Alabama is HOT! The ceremony, if all goes well, will be outside. We will keep it short and sweet though!

Can I take photos at the ceremony?

Answer

We would like to keep our ceremony unplugged, and we hope that you would respect that. This is one of the biggest moments of our lives, and we really hope that you're present in the moment with us. We are also paying a lot for professional photography, and your phones can mess up our photos. Take all the selfies and portraits you wish after, and let us know if you want a picture with us during the reception!

What is the best way to get to Tuscaloosa?

Answer

If you’re not driving, we recommend flying into Birmingham (BHM) and renting a car. Tuscaloosa is too far from the airport to rideshare. A rental car will also be helpful as the venue is at least 20 minutes from any hotel. An alternative to BHM is flying to another airport such as Nashville (BNA) or Atlanta (ATL) and making a whole vacation out of this!

What hotel should I stay at?

Answer

There are no convenient hotels for the venue. That being said, a hotel block is available at the Hilton Home2Suites downtown (close to the Welcome Dinner!) Here is the link: https://shorturl.at/iuRqL Airbnb is also another great option for those who want the extra space. Just be ready for a lot of Crimson Tide decor! RTR!

When should I RSVP by?

Answer

It makes it easier for us if you do it ASAP. However, please get it to us as the latest April 30, 2025.

What should we bring as a gift for the wedding?

Answer

We’ve chosen to have a honeymoon fund on our Zola website and an Amazon registry (link found on Registry page). However, if you’d like to bring something special to help us fill our new home, we’d be delighted! Cards are also greatly appreciated—Sydney saves every card she receives!

What’s a Welcome Dinner?

Answer

In lieu of the traditional Rehearsal Dinner, we chose to host a Welcome Dinner to which everyone is invited! Just join us downtown the night before to eat some tacos, drink some margs, and mingle with someone new! We want you to know how grateful we are you’d travel to us to celebrate our marriage, and the best way to do that is food and conversation! We’re excited, so why keep the celebration to only one day?!
