For our Boston family and friends making the trip across the Atlantic, the easiest way to reach Doonbeg is by flying into Shannon Airport (SNN)—just about a 1-hour drive from Doonbeg. Direct flights from Boston to Shannon make for the most convenient option. Alternatively, you can fly into Dublin Airport (DUB), where you can either rent a car (approx. 3.5–4 hours’ drive). We recommend renting a car if you’d like the flexibility to explore the stunning Wild Atlantic Way during your stay.
