Tryon Palace was the first permanent capitol of the Colony of North Carolina, built for Royal Governor William Tryon between 1767 and 1770 as a grand Georgian-style government house and residence. Whether you enjoy history or not, the palace is a beautiful place to check out and explore!

Fun Fact: Joseph took Samantha on a surprise trip to the aquarium on the same day he proposed. They had a blast and really enjoyed seeing the otters swim and play!
