As the ceremony will take place in a The Church, we kindly ask guests to dress modestly and respectfully. We request that shoulders, backs, and midriffs be covered during the ceremony. If your dress includes straps, a low back, or a strapless neckline, please bring a shawl, wrap, jacket, or other cover-up to wear while in the church. Once we move to the reception, guests are welcome to remove their cover-ups and enjoy the celebration in their chosen attire. Strapless and sleeveless styles are perfectly welcome for the festivities that follow. Thank you for helping us honor the traditions of our ceremony while celebrating with us afterward!

We recommend arriving between 3:30 PM and 3:45 PM to allow plenty of time for parking and seating before the ceremony begins. The doors to Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church in Newport News will open at 3:30 PM, and we kindly ask that all guests be seated before the ceremony starts.
