We met through my cousin Eleanor Zake's friend Sharon. Eleanor is Sharon's Matreon. I was coming to Uganda and Sharon had told me about Rose. We all jumped on a conference call and then from then it was popping popcorn. The chemistry was great and we really clicked. Our first date was at a restaurant called Mezo Noir we ate and danced and enjoyed. By the end of the night, it was time to go home, and I drove through the whole Kampala looking for pork. It was then I knew that if she could keep up with my craziness, she was the one.

I had told Rose I was going to take her out to dinner. I contacted Roses friend and planned a surprise birthday party for her. Rose had no idea about the surprise birthday party. When we arrived, Rose was shocked by her friends all seated and screaming surprise Happy Birthday. We all ordered food and after we ate I proposed and asked Rose to Marry me and she said yes. We're so excited to celebrate this next chapter in our lives with you. See you in Uganda!
