Please RSVP by Sunday, November 26th.
Our wedding calls for formal attire, with a vibrant twist inspired by the colorful streets of San Miguel de Allende. Given the charming cobblestone pathways, we recommend wedges or flats for comfort and ease of movement. Our bridesmaids will be stunning in light blue satin dresses, so we kindly ask guests to choose complementary colors that don't exactly match their ensemble.
We wish we could accommodate all our friends and family, but due to capacity limitations, we can only invite those listed on your invitation.
San Miguel de Allende is located in the high altitude valley of the country (6200 ft above sea level). Expect dry climate with the temperatures ranging from 50 degrees at night to upper 80s during the day. Slight rain is possible, but less likely.
All guests are responsible for booking their own shuttle service from the airport to SMA. Reference the travel tab in our website for recommended shuttle service companies and links to reserve. Also note San Miguel de Allende is a walkable town, with Ubers readily available if necessary.
We've curated a selection of recommended hotels near our venue, each offering exclusive promo codes to help you save on your stay. While we haven't reserved room blocks, you'll find convenient options within a 10-minute walk of our wedding location under the travel tab. We recommend booking early, as some promotional codes may expire a few weeks before our wedding date.
Several guests have expressed interest in flying with us from Tijuana (CBX) to Querétaro, especially if this is your first time to Mexico. If you would like to be on the same flight as us, please let us know ahead of time, we would love for you to join us! We will be arriving to San Miguel de Allende on Wednesday, February 24th. Reach out to us individually for further details.
San Miguel de Allende is a remarkably safe and welcoming destination, beloved by tourists and expatriates alike. Consistently rated as one of the best cities in Mexico and globally, it attracts numerous retired Americans who have made this charming colonial town their home. Having personally visited and thoroughly researched the area, we can confidently attest to its safety and appeal.
In San Miguel de Allende, pesos are the national currency, and U.S. dollars are not widely accepted. We recommend exchanging your dollars at local airports or banks. While most establishments accept credit cards, it's wise to keep some cash on hand for tips, market purchases, and small transactions.
