Maid of Honor
Kayla and I have been friends since 2014 when we met working at a nursing home. From our teenage years through our twenties, and now venturing into our thirties together, our friendship continues to grow stronger. No matter how long it's been since we see each other, when we get together it's like no time has passed. No one else would make a better Maid of Honor for me on this special day.
Bridesmaid
Tina is the best little sister a girl could ask for. From playing with barbies in the Christmas tree, battling each other with teenage angst, and growing up to learn we are God given besties, we've been through the toughest of times together. This girl never fails to make me laugh. She's always been our goofy Tina Beana.
Bridesmaid
My soul sister! Having a cousin that was born only a month and a few days apart from me has been one of the best blessings God gave me. Dannie and I are cut from the same cloth. We share the same deep-rooted love for the Jonas Brothers haha. We are a couple of hopeless romantics and to be able to have my hype girl with me on such a special moment after I got to share that with her, eek! I just can't wait.
Best Man
It’s hard to imagine this day without my younger brother by my side—partly because he’d probably show up anyway, whether invited or not. A true Renaissance man of recreation, if you can’t find him playing with his kids, he’s probably spiking a volleyball in a sandpit or talking trash on a pickleball court. He’s a diehard Husker fan (even during the “rebuilding years”), and somehow still manages to have the energy of a caffeinated golden retriever. Jokes aside, he’s been my rock through the rough patches and one of the first people I turn to when life gets hard. I couldn’t ask for a better best man—or a better brother.
Groomsman
A man of few words but many dice rolls, this brother of mine is the strong, silent type—unless we’re deep into Blood on the Clocktower or a D&D campaign, in which case he’s probably plotting something chaotic behind the scenes. He may not always say much, but he gives the kind of bear hugs that could realign your spine and somehow always nails the perfect holiday gift. I’m incredibly thankful to call him my brother, and even more grateful he’s standing with me on this day.
Groomsman
I met Alex when he played Charlie Brown and I was Schroeder—our first song we sang together was “Beethoven Day,” and it’s been bromance ever since. From theatre kids to NYC roommates to lifelong friends, Alex is my brother from another mother. He’s the guy who keeps me grounded, makes me laugh till it hurts, and always shows up with grace (and snacks). Whether we’re yelling at football or quoting musicals, I’m lucky to have a friend who lets me be fully me.
