Our story is nothing short of beautiful. We met online; however, we told our family we met through friends, oops lol. When we first met, I was 18 and Joey was 21. He had moved to Phoenix a few months prior, and I was just starting my career in the medical field. Over the next 2 months, we spent time with each other, almost every day. We had gone to a baseball game for one of our first dates and quickly realized there how much we had in common and how much we liked each other. In late July of 2022, Joey asked me to be his girlfriend, and I obviously said yes, he had quickly shown me how different he was than all the others. For the next year and a half, we did so much together! We experienced Lambeau Field and a freezing Packers game together, went to Wrigley Field for a Cubs game, and so much more! In March 2024 we got our first apartment together with our dog Captain! Since then, we’ve gone fishing and camping more times than we can count, he supported me through a career change, we went on a cruise together to Mexico, (Thank you again to Joey and Stephanie) so many road trips, and multiple adventures around Phoenix. We've loved the last 4 years together, and are both so excited to move into this next chapter, and to experience it with the people we love!

We both love camping and fishing; it is one of our favorite things to do together. Almost year prior to the proposal, we had gone on a camping trip up to Payson and took photos with our friends and dogs at the Mogollon Rim. This year, Joey had suggested going camping without our dog Captain, and only with our friends this time. Through the day, we were fishing and enjoying the day and before leaving, our friends, Justin and Joce, had suggested taking photos in the same spot as the year prior. We went to the rim, and as I am showing Joce the photos, I turn around and Joey is down on one knee. Without any hesitation I said yes! We are so excited to celebrate this next season in our lives with the people who mean the most to us! See you in September!
