Like most couples these days, we took a chance on a taco Tuesday date via a dating app. Nallely happened to be in New Orleans while her best friend Michelle was getting married and had no one to talk baseball with. The Boston Red Sox happened to be in post season baseball, and she needed someone who’d understand her hype. Joseph, who was fighting for his fantasy baseball life, was more than happy to engage the conversation. While chatting back and forth, Joe recommended we continue our conversation over tacos when she returned to Philadelphia. Joe decided to take the date way too seriously, however as we we’re leaving and walked her to her car, he cracked a very funny joke and both of us laughed until we cried. The Joke obviously worked because when he asked Nallely for a second date she immediately agreed. Since that first date, our lives have exponentially grown together as a couple. Our favorite moments that we hold dear to our hearts include going to the Dominican together to visit family, along with traveling as a family to the Turks and Caicos. Our lives are filled with joy, and friends and family is what keeps our hearts full. We cherish friends and family and everything they do for us. Our love story is shared with you all, and we are grateful to have you in our lives.

Joe originally had planned to get engaged when we returned from a trip we planned to Greece with friends. He kept a very low profile, however he decided to take the ring with him just in case a perfect opportunity presented itself. The night of the engagement, our friend Yulia decided to take a reservation at a seaside restaurant in Santorini Greece with fresh seafood pasta and excellent white wine. Upon sitting down, Joe decided that this was going to be the moment. The sun was setting, the lobster was being eaten, and for a moment Nallely and Yulia left the table to take a few photos. While Nallely was absent, Joe pulled out the ring, placed it under a napkin and waited for his future fiancée to return to the table. Upon her return, Joe immediately went into a touching story about how they met and why they love their relationship. It was at this moment that he revealed the ring and asked Nallely to be his wife. Nally, overcome with emotion, fought back tears as she leaned into her future husband and said I do.
