Where an empty plot of land once stood, Monique's parents built a new home on Aron Street in Smithtown, NY. This is the same street where Monique and Joseph would spend their childhoods growing up together; playing manhunt and video games, riding their bikes around the block, and running to Nick's pizza with their neighborhood gang. The street where they would one day fall in love. From the time of their kindergarten play dates, to the high school football games where Monique cheered Joe on from the sidelines, they continued to grow. Some years closer together, others farther apart. In either case, they always held a special place in their hearts for each other. Life after high school seemed to take Monique and Joe in different directions, with a funny way of bringing them together every so often, each time making special memories that stuck with them throughout the years. In April of 2017, once again one of life's unexpected moments lead Joey and Monique back to each other. After years of shying away, they both knew this was their time. In a magical night of fun with friends, Joe walked Monique back to that house on Aron Street, and under the starlight, they shared their very first kiss- one that made them both question, "What on Earth had they been waiting for?"
