Our story starts differently depending on who you ask. Mia says Joe was her TA, Joe says Mia was his TA. But really, the first time we truly met was in Intro to Statistics class at Cornell. We each started going to the library before class in hopes that the other would be there. Throughout the next few years full of classes, animals, and Joe's poor texting skills, we both ended up staying at Cornell for graduate school. We reconnected after Mia posted her first vet school picture and finally went on an official first date on October 1st, 2021. Fast forward three years and a couple dogs later, Joe proposed in the Cornell Botanical Gardens on our three year anniversary. Now after moving to Michigan together, we are so excited to return to Ithaca to celebrate our marriage with all of our friends and family.
