The American Swedish Institute, or Turnblad Manor, is listed on the National Register of Historic Places and is a museum, and therefore has some unique rules. There are two areas of this building: the historic manor, and the addition. WITHIN THE MANOR: Absolutely no food or drinks are allowed No live vegetation (real plants or flowers) No touching the historic artworks WITHIN THE WHOLE MUSEUM: Weapons and firearms are banned from the premises No outside food or drinks will be allowed No large bags (backpacks, duffel bags, etc.) **BAGS WILL BE INSPECTED AT THE FRONT DESK**
