FAQs

The Wedding Website of Lisa Heinz and Joseph Connolly
Hopefully we can answer some of your questions. If you have additional questions, just ask. And if we fine any questions are being ask frequently, we will add them.
Question

Are dogs allowed?

Answer

Let's get the important things out of the way first - No. But only because it will be incredibly difficult for Lisa to take him or her home.

Question

No, but really, what time will the ceremony actually start?

Answer

As of now the ceremony is set to begin at 5:30pm. If our timeline changes, we will notify you. Either way, please plan to arrive slightly before the start time.

Question

Where should I stay?

Answer

We have two hotel blocks for our guests: the Warwick and the Maxwell. Although more expensive, the Warwick is in a more central location and closer to Pike's Place Market. The Maxwell is closer to the space needle and Kerry Park (to get the iconic Seattle picture), but not central for much else. We welcome you to stay at any other hotel located in the area too. There are several options that are part of Starwood, Hilton, Hyatt, or Marriot, if you would like to use or accumulate hotel points.

Question

Where do I need to go between the ceremony and reception? What is there to do?

Answer

Head to the bar located several feet away from the ceremony location for drinks and appetizers! If you have trouble finding the bar, the best bet is probably to follow a groomsman or bridesmaid.

Question

What should I wear?

Answer

Cocktail or semi-formal attire. The ceremony and cocktails will be outdoors, so please consider the weather. We are hoping for sunny and warm. Typically the weather is in the 70s during the day and high 50s at night. We recommend a jacket for the evening. The ceremony will be on grass. Although the ground is very firm, heels may sink in. Please take that into account.

Question

May I bring a date?

Answer

We tried our best to learn the name of your significant other and invite them. Those not in a relationship are welcome to bring a date. With that said, we kindly request that RSVP for yourself and your date (and select your meal preference) before May 15.

Question

May I bring my children?

Answer

As much as we love your children, we request that you leave that at home for the evening. If you are coming from out of town, we are happy to help arrange group babysitting or get referrals.

Question

What is the RSVP deadline?

Answer

May 15th.

Question

Will there be food?

Answer

Yes, appetizers and dinner will be served.

Question

What should I do if I have a dietary restriction?

Answer

We would like you to be able to enjoy the food at our wedding! Please let us know of any dietary restrictions when you RSVP. We can accommodate most restrictions as long as we know at least 3 weeks in advance.

Question

Should we plan for any other wedding related events?

Answer

Joe and I enjoying the City in the days leading up to the wedding. We would love all our friend and family to join us. So look out for updates and we will let you know our plan so you can join.

Question

Do you have transportation to and from the wedding?

Answer

We are still figuring out whether this works logistically . Please check back for an update!

Question

Does the venue have parking?

Answer

We are looking into this. Please check back closer to the wedding date.

Question

How to best contact you?

Answer

In the months and weeks leading up to the wedding, email is best. You can even use our wedding email (connollyheinzwedding@gmail.com)! If you have a last minute question on the day of or the day before the wedding, we ask that you reach out to our day of coordinator. We will provide her information closer to the date.
