We're Getting Married

They say that some souls are tethered long before they ever meet. Joseph and I grew up walking the same halls of our local elementary school, yet our paths never quite crossed. It wasn't until years later, when I was seventeen and he was eighteen, that the universe finally decided the timing was right. While we officially met through social media, the "coincidences" began to stack up immediately. When Joseph first introduced me to his younger sister, she recognized me instantly from those early school days. It was a beautiful, quiet sign that I hadn’t just found a partner; I had found a family I was always meant to belong to. In September of 2021, we became a couple, and our lives began to move in a beautiful, fast-paced harmony. Our very first date was spent getting lost in a local corn maze, a place with memories full of laughter and the thrill of a new beginning. We didn't know then that this maze would become a cornerstone of our history. Two years later, in 2023, Joseph brought me back to that same spot to ask the most important question of our lives. In the place where we first started our journey, we promised to continue it forever.
