We're so excited to celebrate with you

In true twenty first century fashion, Joey and Kristina had the good fortune of matching on Tinder in late 2018. Kristina was in school at the University of Florida and Joey was 4 hours away, an Attorney in the Army, stationed at Fort Rucker in Alabama. After the million dollar question, “How many pieces of pizza can you eat in one sitting?” Kristina decided Joey passed the test of potential boyfriend material. Joey planned a weekend for the two to meet on one of his trips to Gainesville (yes, they did in fact get pizza on their first date). As they like to say, the rest is history. Joey was pulling out of the parking lot after saying goodbye that first weekend and Kristina was already texting her friends that she had met her future husband. Fast forward to graduating college in 2019, Kristina moved to Atlanta and she and Joey continued a long distance relationship until she went to Alabama to be with Joey during COVID. Two weeks turned into two months turned into moving in together and going wherever the army sent them! Many road trip visits, brewery trips, Saturday morning runs, brunch dates, reality TV binges, and rides in Joey's Jeep later, Joey decided it was time to ask Kristina to marry him. When he was invited on a Tedesco family vacation to Montana, Joey decided it was the perfect opportunity to propose to Kristina. Secretly devising a plan with her sisters and cousin, Joey pulled the trigger in Yellowstone National Park. After the initial “what the heck are you doing??” Kristina gleefully accepted, much to Joey's relief. Joey, now officially complete with his service obligation to the Army, has taken his talents to Tampa, Florida where he and Kristina have finally settled down. We are so excited to start our lives together and grateful for you all to be a part of it!
