Like many a modern couple, Joe and Ken met one brisk January day on an app. They exchanged pleasantries and numbers and while Joe went off on vacation, Ken stored Joe's number in a spreadsheet. But he forgot to call. Thankfully, Joe reached out again on the app- the luckiest thing to have ever happened to Ken. A month later, on a brisker February day, they arranged to meet for a quick drink. That drink led to a pitcher of sangria, and they were still talking at 2am in the morning. Six years later, that conversation still continues, across countries, states, cities, apartments, jobs, careers, a pandemic, and a new pet. And despite many valiant efforts to have quiet evenings, conversations that run deep into the early morning about things like Orthodox patriarchs, the origins of Turkic languages, or how Democrats came to be associated with the color blue, continue. And they likely always will. This is our never-ending story, and we are so excited to have you start this next chapter with us.
