On a thirty-day trip around the country, Joe was driving into Flathead state park when he swiped on Bumble on a cute girl with a beautiful smile. He saw that she was Christian and non-smoking so he chose to give it a shot. She accepted the like the next morning and started off the conversation with a "wave" emoji. Really got that conversation rolling... Joe then actually started the conversation and the two of them talked while Joe hikes a mountain. Later that day around dinner time Joe was driving into town and was hungry after the hike so he asked her and she gave three recommendations. He turned down the first one leaving The Brass Tap and Hops as a choice. He then asked out of those two which she would choose and she chose The Brass Tap. Joe then pulled out the most amazing pickup line in history and said, "Would you like to join me." She agreed and they decided to meet in a couple hours. When she arrived she was horrified by what she saw... a beard. She could not believe the catfish she had fallen into but luckily Joe explained it was only a vacation beard. Joe also decided it was a reverse catfish because those photos did not do any justice to how amazing she actually looked. Then she talked for THREE hours all the meanwhile Joe had to pee but was too afraid to because he did not know the proper date etiquette.
After the first date, we texted non-stop for the rest of the trip asking way too many questions about everything and anything. After Joe got home we decided to do our first video chat; much like our first date, it lasted six hours. Slowly we began talking on video every day and they become longer and longer till one day we just fell asleep on video with each other. On that day we did everything we could to not end the call until we reached 27 hours of continuous video chat. After that night we have slept "together" on video chat every night and Kelli to this day can't sleep without noise in the background.
On the 20th day of March, we were in Billings Montana visiting her family when I enlisted their help to blah blah blah and she said YES after a lot of tears of course. -Story fabricated by Joe
He still hasn't done it. - Story fabricated by Kelli
I drove to meet Joe at Spokane Airport to go to his parents house for his father's birthday. As I did so I meet Joe at the outside parking lot at the airport. There he helped me unload my car. I then went to lock my car and I turned around To see Joe getting down on one knee. Joe proposed in the freezing cold night air after traveling all day. I obviously said.... YES! with tears and everything.
