The two go to the same college together and even in the midst of crazy demanding schedules they continue deepening their friendship and develop feelings for one another on and off. The story takes a turn when Joey moves far away, across oceans, to the Kingdom of Wonder and Kaylee starts her career as a nurse. Their friendship continues across borders and Kaylee even confesses her feelings to Joey once, but his mind is fixed elsewhere. 10 years pass and Joey returns. Their friendship continues and the two start hanging out even more than before. Finally all the pieces are set and the timing is just right for the next chapter for their love story to begin.
