Where should I stay?

Answer

We’ve suggested hotels and guesthouses near the venue on our “Travel & Stay” page. We recommend booking early, as December is peak travel season in Ghana.

What should I wear?

Answer

The ceremony will be elegant but vibrant — feel free to incorporate bright colors, African prints, and festive styles. December in Ghana is warm, so light fabrics are ideal

Will there be other events besides the wedding?

Answer

Yes! We’re planning optional activities like a market tour, and group trips to Cape Coast, Accra City and The Volta Regions. More info on dates and costs is on the “Things to Do” page.

Will transportation be provided on the wedding day?

Answer

Yes — we’ll have a bus for guests staying at our recommended hotels and guesthouses in the Oyarifa and Adenta area.

How do I handle currency?

Answer

Ghana’s currency is the Ghanaian Cedi (GHS). You can exchange USD, EUR, or GBP at the airport or local forex bureaus. Many places accept cards, but cash is handy for smaller vendors. You can also withdraw cash from the atms at the mall.
