We're getting married!

Joseph and I first met through a mutual friend during my junior year of high school. I was given his snap, and we snapped back and forth for a while. A group of us decided to meet up to go bowling where Joe and I continued to talk and compete against each other. After that night we continued to keep in touch and went bowling every once in a while. Our friendship continued to grow, even after I went off to college in Kansas. We both felt like we could talk to each other about anything and everything. We would spend late nights facetiming each other, and when I would come back to visit, we would hangout watching movies and then go out for Mexican. August of 2024 Joe asked if I would go to dinner with him. I looked up at him and asked, "like in ...." He responded "yes, as in a date." Our first date he took me to Firebirds in Des Moines and then we went walking around the mall. We just seemed to connect with each other and spend endless hours talking on the phone or facetiming each other, when we weren't together.
