Maid of Honor
I met Joel freshman year of high school. We sat near each other in Fin&Comp. Me being the obnoxious person I am, would play Mariah Carey’s ‘All I Want For Christmas Is You’ on full volume and look at pictures of orange chicken on google. For some reason, that attracted Joel to my weirdness. We got talking and I told him how I wanted to audition for the ‘one act’. He hopped on board with me and we both absolutely obliterated it, but we’ve been best friends for 10 years since. A fun fact about me is that I have one hip that is taller than the other, so I am always slightly leaning to the left. No one can tell, but I sure can with the amount of pain I’m always in!!!
Maid of Honor
I knew of Joel throughout high school, but we became friends while working our horrible jobs at Target. We instantly clicked & would take our breaks together everyday, and have an Alani and 2 donuts for lunch! He really made everyday fun and now, 3 years later, we work together again! I love being able to continue receiving his sass everyday. I am beyond lucky to call him my best friend. We made a pact a couple years ago, that if neither of us were married by 35 then we would marry each other.. Looks like the pact has broken, but it’s okay because I love J&J together and am so excited to see them grow old together!

Maid of Honor
Joe and I met in 2018 while working at AMC Theaters. AMC was not a normal workplace by any means, especially with Joe and I running the show. For some odd reason, Joe understood my humor and we started to do everything together. If we weren’t at work, most of our time was spent in my “mom van” where we went on late night drives with the music blasting. Flash forward to 2025… it’s been a few years since AMC and I am close to getting my teaching license. Although I am not around 24/7, Joe has stuck by my side the entire time and we have been best friends ever since the day we met!
Bridesmaid
I met Joe in 2018 while working at AMC, where I spent my time bugging Olivia with my weirdness. Somewhere along the way, Joe and I started talking, hanging out, and became friends. I can’t imagine what life would be like if we hadn’t met, but I know it’s a lot brighter with him in it. That’s why I call him by his last name—because, as the saying goes, "Whosoever holds this hammer, if he be worthy, shall possess the power of Thor."
Best Man
I was first. The golden child. The one who did everything right. Then came him. A late arrival (by six minutes), a little too purple for comfort, and definitely a work in progress. Joel was always the helmet wearing type, but as the years gone by the helmet has slowly transferred to me. He's got his finances in order, going to school, working a job he enjoys, and now is taking the next step with his partner. So I'll take the helmet, because I'm sure Joe doesn't like it on Joel and it wouldn't look nice for the wedding.
