We met through friends one November. Some friends of mine told me of Joseph at a get-together, and I decided to send him a message just to say hi. What started as a simple conversation turned into something we both didn't expect. Joseph asked me if I wanted to go on a date, and of course I said yes- though I couldn't have guessed it would be hunting! I had mentioned I hadn't been in a long time, and Joseph thought it would be something fun we could do for our first date that we would always remember. We went hunting a couple of days later and the day was so peaceful and full of laughter, and we both felt something special start to grow. After hunting, we went our for dinner and talked for hours before Joseph drove me home. It was simple, unexpected, and perfect- the start of our story.
