Hikes from the Centennial Trailhead (Boulder) Easier: Sunshine Canyon Trail — A gentle, 2.5-mile out-and-back with only about 350 feet of elevation gain, taking an hour to 90 minutes. The trail contours smoothly rather than climbing steeply, making it a great pick for beginner hikers or anyone who'd rather stroll than sweat. Look for wildflowers along the sunnier stretches in May. Harder: Mount Sanitas — The Boulder classic, about 3.1–3.3 miles round trip with roughly 1,300 feet of elevation gain and steep, rocky sections. Takes around 2 hours and rewards you with sweeping views over the city from the summit.
Just a few miles from Moss Denver, Cherry Creek Shopping Center is one of Denver's premier shopping destinations. It's a great option for out-of-town guests who want to spend an afternoon browsing, grabbing a bite at one of the on-site restaurants, or picking up a last-minute wedding outfit accessory. The adjacent Cherry Creek North neighborhood also has a charming, walkable strip of independent boutiques, galleries, and cafes.
