The countdown begins!

We started kindergarten in the fall of 1996 with Mrs. Rockwell we had no idea then but sometime between watching sesame street and playing in the sandbox that's when God matched our hearts and lined us up to be soul mates. November 16, 2018 I liked a post on his facebook and later that night he invited me over to hang out with him and some friends, I was beyond nervous but I went. Once I got there Joseph greeted me outside with a simple "Aye Girl" and a hug. Joseph, a few friends of his and myself hung out all night laughing, drinking and playing cards. I ended up staying the night because we stayed up until 6am and I needed to go to Jackson later that day. We hung out all day talking about anything and everything then he asked me if i could drive him to his truck so I did. I was even more nervous and not sure what was to come after i dropped him off but he smiled his big smile asked me for a kiss and gave me the biggest hug ever. He later that week asked me to be his girlfriend. Now lets jump to March of 2020, we went on our first vacation together to see his dad in South Carolina. While there we went to a little shop and started to look at rings, we both fell in love with one in particular and sure enough we bought it. We where both very excited and it was a special moment because my soon to be father-in-law was with us. May 25, 2020 Joseph an I where at a friends cabin and we had decided that we wanted to go adventuring around and site see a bit, then we ended up on the highway heading straight for the Mackinaw bridge. Joseph had NEVER been over the bridge and he knows how much i LOVE the UP. Joseph and i held hands, talked, laughed, sang, did a little shopping and got stuck in a rain storm and enjoyed the alone time we had. We went to lunch in St. Ignace and walked down to the lighthouse and just talked about our future. Joseph knew how special the UP was to me and that's when he proposed.
