Can I bring a date/plus one?

Answer

We'd love to celebrate with the whole world if we can, but due to venue constraints, we're kindly asking that only those listed on your invitation attend. If your invitation says “plus guest,” then absolutely yes! If not, and you have someone we may have forgotten, let us know and we can happily add them to a backup list in case space opens up. Thank you so much for understanding!

What is the dress code?

Cocktail/semi-formal please. Please bear in mind that the ceremony and cocktail hour will be outdoors (you will be walking in grass). We know ya'll will look stunning as ever.

What is the Parking Situation?

Answer

There is plenty of parking in the grass/gravel. On the travel page we uploaded a photo of the aerial view of the venue. This is a large property ~acres. Parking, the reception barn, ceremony and cocktail hour by poolside are all identified. Guests are allowed to leave vehicles over night (no towing)

What should we expect for weather?

Answer

As many of you know, Virginia is as unpredictable as it gets. But barring any rain, expect it to be on the warm side. Especially when the dancing starts.

Where is the reception?

Answer

The ceremony, reception and cocktail hour will all conveniently take place on the same estate at Murray Hill! Though the reception is just a short (~2 min) walk up a pleasant forested road. A photo of the aerial view was added to the travel page. Please use this as a reference. As for an after party, ask the bridal party closer to the date. Thank you!

What time should I arrive?

The ceremony will start prompty at 4:00PM. Guests may start arriving at the venue at 3:30PM. Please keep in mind you will have a short walk from the parking to the ceremony

Are kids welcome?

Answer

While we love your little ones and always enjoy a chance to be a bad influence, your invitation will indicate if your child is invited. Thank you for understanding!

Is the venue wheelchair accessible?

Answer

Yes it is, though there are some wooded and gravel areas on the grounds. If you run into any trouble, Joe will personally send a team of his groomsmen to carry you over any obstacles.
