We have a block of rooms reserved for our guests at Hyatt Place Athens Downtown from August 21–23, 2026. Parking is available for $17 per car. ATL

The closest major airport is Hartsfield–Jackson Atlanta International Airport (ATL), about 90 minutes from Athens. From the airport, guests can book a ride through services like Uber or Lyft, or take the Groome Transportation shuttle, which offers convenient trips directly to Athens. If you’re planning to stay in Atlanta before or after the wedding, you may want to arrange transportation in advance to make the trip smoother.

If you are booking a shuttle (Groome), choose your drop off location as "Classic Center" to be dropped of closest to the hotel. Booking an Uber might be more affordable if traveling in a bigger group.

Venue Shuttle

August 22, 2026 3:15 pm - 11:00 pm

We’re excited to provide a shuttle to make getting to and from the celebration easy! Shuttles will run between the Hyatt Regency (our hotel block) and the wedding venue. Rides to the venue will depart at 3:15 PM and 4:00 PM, with return trips back to the hotel at 10:15 PM and 11:00 PM. If you prefer to travel on your own schedule, rideshare options like Uber and Lyft are readily available 24/7. We can’t wait to celebrate with you!
