Our Love Story

Our adventure began in September 2024 and started with a simple message on Facebook. It took Joseph messaging Elizabeth, and the rest is history. Joseph was actually traveling to Las Vegas, Nevada with his family on vacation and scrolled over Elizabeth profile. The message read something like this, “Ahh hiii Elizabeth!! I added you because you look so familiar!! I feel like our paths crossed at some point!! I hope you’re doing well!!” Once back in town, we met on a hot summer, fall-like day on a golf course at The Lakewood Golf Course in Point Clear, Alabama. We agreed on that Elizabeth was going to drive the golf cart, and she drove the whole day. Even spent the first two holes taking a couple swings. We finished the day going to get Mexican for dinner at Agave and began planning for the next date. Hello, Tuscaloosa. In the fall of 2024, Joseph had plans to go to the Missouri v. Alabama game for his return back to the campus for gameday and asked Elizabeth to come for the trip. Second date, and full of craziness which included a lot of driving on the trip. Never would we think that many more trips to Tuscaloosa would come in the future. Elizabeth turned into fan sporting the tide. It wasn’t until November where it became official in dating! It was the kitchen where Joseph pulled out a vase of roses and popped out the question to be official. Since that day, we’ve navigated Nashville, many, many beach trips, family outings, and tried almost every food in downtown Mobile. We’ve navigated different roles in different places in such a short period of time. From the minute, we met on that golf course. We knew it was special. On January 29, 2025. Joseph was able to approach Elizabeth’s parents and talk about the seriousness of how he felt about their daughter. It wasn’t until later in the year that Joseph bought the ring.
