How long is the travel time from the Bay Area cities to Nevada City, Ca?

If you leave by noon... a) From SF, it will take approximately 2 hours and 50 minutes b) From Hayward, it will take approximately 2 hours and 55 minutes c) From San Jose, it will take approximately 3 hours and 20 minutes The later you leave, the longer it will take to travel to Nevada City based on traffic.

There is free parking at the back of the Venue building.

If we decided to stay over night, how easy is it to find a hotel?

Answer

Nevada City is a beautiful place to visit and we encourage you to spend an extra in town to explore. Due to a film fesitval and other weddings happening on the same weekend as our wedding, rooms are becoming scarce. It's best to book your room as soon as possible. There are hotels, including charming bed-and breakfast inns nearby. Other great options include Airbnb and VRBO vacation rentals.

Can I bring a date?

Answer

If your invitation says "and Guest," then yes. If not, then we would prefer if it was just you.

Is it okay for guest to take photos during the ceremony?

Answer

We strongly advice that all guest not to take pictures during ceremony. We have a professional photographer taking care of that for us. Any other time before and after the ceremony is acceptable.
